  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Shredded Colby Jack cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Season the meat with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer.
  4. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, ricotta, cream cheese, and Parmesan until smooth.
  6. Mix cooked noodles into the cheese mixture.
  7. Grease a 9×13 baking dish and layer half of the noodle mixture followed by half of the meat sauce; repeat layers.
  8. Top with shredded Colby Jack cheese.
