  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ cup heavy cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onion, carrots, and celery until tender (5-7 minutes).

  7. Stir in heavy cream if using; season with salt and pepper before serving.
