  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 small sweet onion (diced)
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 can marinara sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain well.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown the ground beef, breaking it apart until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  3. Sauté diced onions for 2 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Whisk in flour until lightly browned, then slowly add beef stock and marinara sauce along with seasonings.
  5. Simmer sauce until slightly thickened, about 6–8 minutes.
  6. Stir in cooked pasta and browned beef.
  7. Incorporate heavy cream until heated through, then mix in sour cream followed by cheddar cheese until melted.
  8. Serve immediately.
