  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot, add penne pasta, and cook until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté chicken pieces seasoned with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add broccoli florets, cover, and steam until tender (4-5 minutes).
  4. Sauté minced garlic in the skillet until fragrant (30 seconds), then stir in heavy cream and gradually mix in Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Combine cooked pasta, sautéed chicken, and steamed broccoli in the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to coat.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
