  • 1 pound raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 small green bell pepper
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups long-grain white rice
  • 4 ½ cups chicken broth
  • Spices: salt, black pepper, thyme, oregano, paprika, cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. 2. In a large pot or Dutch oven, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add sliced sausage and brown for about 7-9 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in chopped celery, bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic; cook until tender (6-7 minutes).
