  • 1 lb ground beef (or ½ beef + ½ pork)
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (meatballs)
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced (sauce)
  • 12 oz linguine
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper until just combined. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear meatballs until browned on all sides. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat; add minced garlic and red pepper flakes for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and parsley before returning meatballs to the skillet to simmer.
  4. Cook linguine according to package directions. In a separate saucepan, melt butter, add heavy cream and Parmesan until smooth; toss with cooked linguine.
  5. Serve meatballs over linguine with extra garlic butter sauce drizzled on top.
