  • ¼ cup thinly sliced carrot
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp ginger (minced)
  • 2 tbsp gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl; let it froth for 5 minutes.
  2. Mix gluten-free flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl; add yeast mixture to form a sticky dough.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth; let rise for an hour covered with a damp cloth.
  4. Prepare the filling by sautéing garlic and ginger in sesame oil; add ground pork or mushrooms and vegetables; cook until done.
  5. Shape the dough into small circles, fill them with the mixture, seal securely, and place them in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper.
  6. Steam over boiling water for about 10 minutes until fluffy.
