  • 6 medium ripe bananas (mashed)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup Nutella

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a muffin pan with liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a stand mixer, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla; mix until well blended.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Warm Nutella in the microwave for about 30 seconds until thin.
  6. Fill muffin liners three-fourths full with batter and add a teaspoon of Nutella on top of each; swirl with a toothpick.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
