  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 sweet yellow onion (optional)
  • Salt
