  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground Italian sausage
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 32 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup cooked spinach
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • Jumbo pasta shells

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook jumbo shells according to package instructions and drain.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté diced bell peppers until soft. Add ground beef and sausage; cook until browned. Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, spinach, eggs, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and salt.
  5. Stuff each shell with the ricotta mixture and arrange them in a baking dish over some meat sauce.
  6. Pour remaining meat sauce on top and cover with foil. Bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Uncover, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, increase temperature to 375°F (190°C), and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until bubbly.
