  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped caramel squares
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat.
  2. Cut the caramel into small pieces and mix with chocolate chips and pecans in a bowl; reserve half for topping later.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.
  4. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
